Bucharest's civic information exists, but it's scattered across 13 institutional websites in formats from another decade. Puls București gathers it in one place: 22 scrapers read the official sources around the clock, turning the city into a page you check like the morning weather.

The civic layer goes beyond aggregation: a moderated citizen-issue map, and "my building" — type your address and learn whether your block is hit by an outage or included in a thermal-rehab program.

What it does

  • Live panel: weather, air quality, hot-water/heating/power outages, roadworks
  • STB and Metrorex transit disruptions plus official releases from 13 institutions
  • LLM-curated local news and a weekly blog digest
  • "My building": address lookup that links free-text outage notices to real blocks
  • Moderated citizen-issue map with photo upload

Engineering highlights

  • The street-closure extractor is hallucination-guarded: confidence ≥0.7 plus a verbatim-quote check against the source
  • Address resolution matches free-text notices to real buildings — alias work lifted block-code recall from 3% to 31%
  • 157 street pages and 18 per-sector outage pages, ISR-generated for SEO
  • No accounts, no marketing cookies — civic also means private
